Since 2017, the artist Aya Nakamura has been making France dance, but also abroad. Known for music such as Djadja, Pookie and most recently Doudou, it was for her Bobo video, shot in Cape Verde and featuring the singer and the island's heavenly beaches, that production company IDZ Prod called on our VFX service.
We wanted the scenes shot on the beach to have an intimate atmosphere, so our task was to use background erasures.
These VFX consist of erasing people who are not taking part in the video clip, and therefore should not be in the camera's field of vision. It's sometimes difficult to manage the backgrounds during filming, which is why these special effects are so useful.
To do this, we worked on the shots of the clip, once it had been shot and edited, and proceeded to erase them, also known as rig removal.
