Context: Showcasing the Disneyland Hotel at Disneyland Paris
After several months of refurbishment, the majestic gates of the Disneyland Hotel are finally reopening to welcome visitors to a royal and enchanted world.
As part of this eagerly awaited reopening, Disneyland Paris wanted to offer a magical, personalised customer experience. It was against this backdrop that our VFX team was asked to produce the VFX for their promotional video, which was sent to every guest following their reservation at the prestigious establishment.
Production: VFX supervision and production
Filmed at the heart of the Disneyland Hotel, the video combines live footage and visual effects to immerse visitors in a magical world from the moment they confirm their stay.
Our team created all the 3D visual effects, including the main feature of the video: the magic key and its Pixie Dust. Iconic Disney objects were also virtualised in 3D to recreate the magical atmosphere of the place: refined crockery, an eternal rose under a bell, animated feather dusters, bed runners, floating books, an enchanted letter, a door and peephole, lanterns, cocktails served at the bar and the fireworks.
Thanks to the photogrammetric scanning of the main scenes, each element blends harmoniously with the real sets.
As the renovation of the hotel was not completely finished at the time of filming, we also carried out several invisible erasures, and paid attention to every detail to offer a poetic and immersive experience to future visitors.
